Zero stars. Evergreen Appliance advertises a 30 day “Satisfaction Guarantee” that the owner does not honor. We purchased a used washer that immediately leaked from the drum on first use, flooding our laundry room and causing water damage to our kitchen and living room carpet. The damage was severe enough that we were forced to file a homeowner’s insurance claim exceeding $20,000. We returned the washer the very next day and calmly requested a refund in accordance with the 30 day guarantee. Despite the appliance being defective and having caused major property damage, the owner refused to refund our money unless we paid a 20% restocking fee.... Zero stars. Let that sink in: a faulty machine floods our home, and the owner’s priority is collecting a restocking fee. There was no accountability, no fairness, and no concern for the customer; only rigid, self-serving behavior and a guarantee that vanishes the moment it’s inconvenient. This is not how an ethical business operates. I would not trust this owner or this business under any circumstances. Evergreen Appliance is a risk, not a service.
