Duffy Roofing Company is exceptional! They replaced the roof on my mother’s house about 10 years ago and everything about the job went smoothly— communication, timeliness, excellent craftsmanship, etc. Everyone on the staff is friendly, professional, and highly skilled. The house is on a busy/narrow/steep/one-way street in Boston. It’s four stories with only a narrow alley on one side for access. The yard slopes down so ladders can’t reach the roof. Duffy had all the equipment and expertise to deal with the difficult job, keeping the workers safe and the neighbors undisturbed. In fact, the next-door-neighbors - who share a roof with my mother - were impressed by the work, too. Now, it’s 10 years later and those neighbors need a new roof, so we enthusiastically recommended Duffy Roofing. They came through again with impeccable communication and service at a reasonable price. While the roofers were working at the neighbor’s house, I called Duffy’s office at the end of the work day to ask if they could take a look at my mother’s roof again to assess any needs. I spoke with the answering service and they returned my call right away the next morning. The Duffy staff agreed to check the roof and everything was still in great shape. There were no loose roof tiles and the flashing was still secure around the chimney and skylight. My mother won’t have to replace her roof anytime soon and we are completely confident recommending Duffy to anyone else looking for a reliable, trustworthy, professional roofing team.

We are beyond impressed with Duffy Roofing!!! They just finished our very tall, steep, large roof in Jamaica Plain — for a home built in 1890 that is tightly sandwiched between multiple other homes. When we were asking around about the best roofers for projects that involve doing a roof on a big old house that is tricky because it is so close to other homes, Duffy came up time and again. After working with them, I can see why! Let me break this review down in a few sections, all of which are equally important: Quality of job One word: impeccable. The Duffy team knows their roofs! Their consultation on how to approach the roof, what materials to use, etc. were all spot on. The day of job was executed flawlessly. Communication Garrett and the Duffy team really stood out in their area. They let us know when the roof would be done, how long it would take, how they would protect our plants and house, and much more. For a huge project like this, it's great to know what's going on. Neighbor relations Again, our house is SUPER close to our neighbors' houses. I felt like the Duffy team spent a level of time and attention addressing neighbor concerns, and protecting their homes, as if they were their own neighbors. Pricing I won't quote their pricing since every roof is different, but I felt it was more than fair given the materials they used and attention to detail they gave to the project. I highly doubt you could get better value for your money anywhere else. The Duffy team was an absolute delight to work with, and I'd recommend them in a heartbeat!
