Doghouse Repair

Just want to thank Phill @DoghouseRepair he really help me out answering all my questions. He also tuned my 2232 Type 1. Not to mention great prices.

Phil at Doghouse repair is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. I had purchased a rebuilt engine from him online and I later delivered my 1979 Super Beetle to him for the swap. He contacted me the next day and advised me he could repair the engine in the car and that I did not need the replacement engine I had already purchased. I had the car back 3 days later running like a top and he saved me at least $1500. He could have done the engine swap ( like most mechanics would have) and I would have never known the difference. I HIGHLY recommend Phil at Doghouse. His integrity and skills are amazing.

Good shop and Phil's sharp on parts and repairs. They stand behind their work. Would recommend using their business if you're in the greater Pahrump area before taking that long drive to Vegas. 💯

Mr Phil is a genius. He is kind, considerate, and most professional. I have watched him over the fence for 5 years and he has worked on trikes, dune buggies, buses, rv's, cars, you name it, I've seen it over the fence. He listened to what was going on, what had happened and my thoughts about what was wrong and was very patient (cause I can jabber alot) and in one day figured out the problem, fixed my car and did it at a reasonable rate. I highly recommend him and personally will not take my car to anyone else, "ever". This is the man for whatever the job.

Incompetent, Irresponsible, Liar. Phil Rogers, owner/operator of Doghouse Repair, promised he knew exactly how to fix my VW. Four replaced parts (including one wrong part) and $400 later my problem remained, yet Phi insisted upon being paid for his "repair". Additionally I had to pay an additional $200 to a Las Vegas VW shop to install the proper part and correct Phil's wacky wiring job. Finally, Phil Rogers lied in court to prevent me from recovering damages. It may be a beautiful day in the neighborhood for Mr. Rogers, but not always for his customers... Richard & Diane Beers
