Dixie Products went above and beyond when my garage door wouldn't close. Dominique had someone come out promptly to fix it. Connor arrived, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it. I am a very satisfied customer, and Dixie Products, along with Dominique and Connor, were great to work with!
Don't waste your money on the "super birch" logs if you want them for back up heat if the power goes out. They don't put out enough heat for the thermostat to kick them off even at 68 degrees.They have no 30 satisfaction guarantee. Basically I paid $2000 for "pretty", wish I would have kept my 20 yr old logs that put out a ton more heat. Be sure you check heat output before buying.
I called these people yesterday and asked for a quote to simply install a new garage door opener that my mother in law just purchased. The gentleman quoted me 600 to 650 dollars for an install...Obviously this price is ludicrous...I called Hall's garage door service, and was quoted 250 dollars...What a difference a phone call makes...If anybody asks for referrals on garage door service, or garage door opener installs, I know who I WON'T refer...
Before I give my review, I want to tell you that the logs haven’t actually been installed yet as they are going out of state and a second party will be doing that. I pre-shopped for my sister in West Virginia and was very pleased with the selection that they had and the service that I was receiving to get information for her purchase when she came to Roanoke. When we got there, they were wonderful. They explained things and my sister had had many problems with trying to purchasegas logs, and she’s been trying to purchase some for over a year. Other vendors for the section of West Virginia, she lives in. She had to travel to get them, and they... I would recommend Dixie products to anyone that is having difficulty getting communications from the company that they’re trying to get logs from. They have most of the Displays in stock in Therewarehouse behind the store and they just loaded it up and she took it to West Virginia to have someone install it for her. She was very pleased with her purchase and I was very pleased with the way things went to keep her from being frustrated. I recommend that you explain to them everything that you’re looking for and when they tell you, they’re gonna give you something for free make sure it is what you need and not what they want to give you. We were told that we were getting a free remote, which is wonderful, but it’s just an on off remote not a full remote with a thermostat. I need to go back and get one and drive it up to West Virginia, Virginia so my sister can use her logs the way they need to be used. . Had they told us we would’ve made the purchase while she was here instead of having to do the extra trip? I recommend this company to anyone! They make the purchase so informed and easy that it is just a wonderful experience
Conner did an excellent job on my door. He took the time to get it right. It works better than it did When I bought the house. Your company installed it when the house was new and it had always made a popping sound and now it does not. Thank you Conner!!
