I worked with Denco fence company on an install of a couple sections of fencing and gates around a new build house. They came with a recommendation from a neighbor and did not disappoint. Preston was clear in communication and easy to work with, and helped coordinate directly with our neighbor, with who we’re splitting the cost. The work itself was quick and everyone was professional and the results came out great. Would highly recommend working with Preston and Denco.

TL;DR - poor communication throughout the project, excellent build quality, gas line struck outside house causing chaos, overall poor experience.
Here's the long story:
Corey was the estimator and project manager. We put our 50% down payment on the project (about $3K) and then had an international trip, so we left the country - we had left the country on the day that Excel energy came out to mark underground gas lines, and we were unaware that the lines had not been marked as needed.
All went well until installation day - when we returned Corey was very quick to get the fence install day scheduled. They showed up and started working - and...TL;DR - poor communication throughout the project, excellent build quality, gas line struck outside house causing chaos, overall poor experience.
Here's the long story:
Corey was the estimator and project manager. We put our 50% down payment on the project (about $3K) and then had an international trip, so we left the country - we had left the country on the day that Excel energy came out to mark underground gas lines, and we were unaware that the lines had not been marked as needed.
All went well until installation day - when we returned Corey was very quick to get the fence install day scheduled. They showed up and started working - and hit a gas line in front of our house. He showed me all the checks they had made for underground lines - and the Excel/gas line was the only one that was unresolved.
So why would they show up and start working without that resolved? Wouldn't they have wanted to have that marked prior to digging? I had no idea that they hadn't actually verified where the gas lines were. Fire dept and Excel showed up, I had to evacuate my house with my two dogs. I work from home, so I was away from my desk missing business. My wife had to leave work to come back to the house to help me with dogs, etc.
Excel took about 2 hours to fix the line, and the Denver Fence co finished the fence in the next few days, with some minor delays due to weather. But the communication was lacking - I had to proactively text Corey a few times to find out where the workers had gone, timing on completion of the rest of the project, etc.
The quality is good and I'm happy with the fence itself. The communication and professionalism is lacking big time - I had to proactively ask Corey about what was going on with the crew and install, and I was the driver of the communication. With a screw up that bad, you would think they would over-communicate, but instead communication was inadequate. Lots of good reviews for these guys, so maybe we were the one-off, but the experience was just bad.
Invoice for the second half of the fence showed up, but they didn't call us post-install to check in on us, apologize, see if we liked the work, etc.
Meantime, I took photos of the state of the back yard, where they had left pavers all over the place. I didn't necessarily expect that they would put the back yard back to the way it was when they found it, but there was a lot of cleanup that I needed to do to pick up all the pavers and leftover cement that they did not clean up and take with them.
A few days later, Corey came out to inspect the work with me, and offered a discount on staining. I said I'd rather have a discount on the project itself. This resulted in a $200 discount.
I'm giving 2 stars for the quality of the work. All else was a negative.

Our chain-link fence was damaged by a drunk driver, and we decided to replace it with a classy black Iron fence. We got three estimates from well respected companies including Denco. We replaced an aging fence with ~100 ft. of length shared between ourselves and the neighbors yard. Corey's team worked quickly to remove the old fence and complete the replacement by the next day which was a huge help with our dogs. They also replaced our backyard fence and worked with us to find a design that suited our needs and was cost effective. Both fences looks great and we're very pleased with the overall result. We had a 6 year old fence at my business. The posts and post bases the original company used were janky and the brackets were not a good design. Corey with Denco provided a very fair estimate within two days of me reaching out. And did a great job swapping out the posts with a solid custom welded and secure design! The fence is super sturdy and back to new! Thanks guys!
