Bob was great to work with for our deck replacement, as was his painter Joel who did the deck staining for us. Both were very responsive and professional. Would definitely work with them again and highly recommended.

Of all the companies I spoke with, Bob Means was to only person that came out with knowledge that could actually build/replace my deck. All the others were sales people wanting to show a powerpoint and took like two measurements. Some of those companies would not come out unless my wife was present for the "presentation" let alone provide a quote. Bob's crew did a great quality job over three days. During the post review, Bob and crew were quick to adjust two small items per my wife. Pricing for my wood deck replacement, which was also ten feet elevated, was very reasonable! Highly recommend DecksByAllMeans, and based on comments from n... In the past 6 years we have rebuilt our house inside and out. With each part of the build we have learned to take the time to interview our vendors to ensure that they understood our expectation for quality and communications. Most recently we engaged Bob Means and his team to rebuild and enlarge our deck. On the sales side, other vendors came out, did some measurements and expected us to sign a contract. Bob took the time to iterate on the design and make adjustments until we were ready to commit. Operationally, this team has solid work processes for each phase of the work (teardown, foundation, framing, decking, railing, etc). They we... Bob took the time to iterate on the design and make adjustments until we were ready to commit. Operationally, this team has solid work processes for each phase of the work (teardown, foundation, framing, decking, railing, etc). They were hardworking, friendly (to us and each other), and diligent throughout the process. From a delivery perspective, the team completed the work this past week and I can only say that they exceeded our expectations on each dimension of the project and on schedule. The build quality is excellent. It is not valuable to go on too much about the specific work in a Google review except to say that I was home and inspected the workmanship for this project at the end of each day and it exhibits real craftsmanship. Finally customer service, the team was always open and welcoming about my questions and offered creative solutions when a question arose about how to execute the design. Because of this attention to detail we had no surprises at the end and we had no rework in this project. I will act as a reference for Bob and the Team anytime.

We are thrilled with our replacement deck! Bob's team is amazing. The quality of their work is excellent. They are very professional and communicated every step of the process. The build went quickly and it is beautiful! We are excited to enjoy breakfasts, lunches and dinners on our new deck as well evenings around the fire pit.Thank you all for your hard work and professionalism.
