When my favorite old cabinet was picked up by Danlin Conservators in West Ravenswood, Chicago, I wondered what it would look like when it was finished. It was over 50 years old and had great vintage and retro brass hardware, which was really beat up. After a previous disaster occurred when a friend of a friend tried their hand at refinishing, the cabinet finish was a mess. I decided it was time to take it to a professional finisher and I knew someone in the architectural woodworking business who said that Danlin was the place to have the work done. Not only did they repair damages to the wood, but the cabinet was so well attended to that... The hardware was cleaned and polished, the casters replaced with a much better quality, and the cabinet came home to me looking just beautiful. There was such an attention to detail that even a fussy person like me could was very impressed with the quality of work done.

Danlin went above and beyond! I had caused pretty extensive water damage from some planters to two antique tables, and they were able to completely restore them both. The staff is kind, helpful, and responsive. Highly recommend.
