Love love, love my new DanDale Ranch Rail Fence. Looks Great! Lots of compliments already.
Extremely happy with our new fence. The entire experience, from the salesman to the installation was flawless. Very courteous and professional from start to finish. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of a new fence. They took away all of the removed fence and swept the driveway. Honestly, couldn’t be happier!
Dan Dale did a fabulous job on our fence!! Makes our yard look totally different!!!!! If you need a new fence contact Dan Dale, you won't be disappointed in the results!!!!!
Don't waste your time. Use a different company Edit: After posting this review, the Director of Operations reached out to hear about our experience and apologized. Update 05/2025: they responded to my review faster than they reached out about my warranty claim (2.5 weeks) I’ll be submitting another claim for a post becoming warped, crooked and unstable. Update 04/2025: I will be filing my second claim on the 5 year guarantee. The first: a board split between two nails and the top of the panel broke off. The second: a support for the gate post isn’t even nailed in. I could pull it right out. Our salesman was very knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with, and was a large part of why we decided to go with Dan Dale. After giving our deposit, there was little to no communication from Dan Dale and when we called to get information, we were passed from person to person. I have given Dan Dale countless opportunities to make things better and show me they care about their customers but it is clear they do not. The land survey we scheduled through Dan Dale was conducted on the wrong day. They never got utility lines marked which is a huge safety hazard. We’ve recently had gas work in our neighborhood and the gas company representative said we got really lucky Dan Dale didn’t hit the gas line because of how close they placed a post. You will have to pull teeth to get any information from Dan Dale, and when you finally get in contact with someone, they give information that is constantly changing in regards to timelines and logistics. You will have to keep calling to make progress on your project. And if you read only one part of this review, read this part: Dan Dale sub-contracts out ALL their work from delivery to install. After the sales representative, we did not see one Dan Dale employee as a part of this process. Sub-contractors were calling us directly as late as 9pm and as early as 7:30am with no information about what we had agreed upon with Dan Dale. The one positive: the fence looks nice for the most part. They installed boards directly to our trees that will need to be addressed, but the overall aesthetic is nice. But that’s where the positive ends. Our neighbors and relator have asked if we’d recommend Dan Dale and our answer is a clear and resounding “ABSOLUTELY NOT”. We will definitely need to utilize their warranty coverage with the way it was built and I’m not looking forward to that in the future. Do yourself a favor – go with a different company.
Do not use this fence company. They built my family home fence in violation of county codes despite representing that they had proper permitting. Since then I have received violation notices from the county. I have been trying off and on for two years to get DanDale to remedy its error. This has consumed hours of my attention, emailing and calling the county and DanDale. But I keep being sent to different people and told different things. I have held off on writing a review in the hopes that DanDale would remedy the error, as it is required to by contract. But the violation remains uncorrected more than two years after the fence’s construction, and I am exposed to penalties.
