Charged me $500 the first time and my vehicle broke down 6 months later and went to get it fixed my vehicle was there for about 5 days and then was finally fixed and there was supposedly a changed head gasket in which they never really did and charged me another $300 dollars $ 800 total 2 weeks later my car started leaking coolant again they said they would come pick it up and never did my vehicle was smoking all the way home with my children in the car and they wouldn’t answer during business hours I finally got a reliable trust worthy mechanic who disassembled my motor in front of me and all he did was change a part that was $80 dollars on...Charged me $500 the first time and my vehicle broke down 6 months later and went to get it fixed my vehicle was there for about 5 days and then was finally fixed and there was supposedly a changed head gasket in which they never really did and charged me another $300 dollars $ 800 total 2 weeks later my car started leaking coolant again they said they would come pick it up and never did my vehicle was smoking all the way home with my children in the car and they wouldn’t answer during business hours I finally got a reliable trust worthy mechanic who disassembled my motor in front of me and all he did was change a part that was $80 dollars on Amazon and he charged me $120 it was a leak from my oil internet cooler in which they just added a few pieces of plastic to the original broken one these guys are thieves and take peoples money I have been in the office and seen how they over charge gullible people who are willing to pay I do not recommend this place at all my family could have gotten hurt because of them stay away all they did was add blue plastic to the already broken part after I got it fixed my check engine light automatically came off and my oil pressure sensor was changed also with the new part and they wanted to charge me another $300 this is a terrible business stay clear of these crooked thieves

I drive from another town into Aberdeen for work 5 days a week, 60 plus miles every day!! After taking my vehicle to a different local shop for years, every 3-4 months like clockwork for an oil change, tire rotation & whatever it needed. When I told them something wasn’t right, I was hearing a noise & something just didn’t “feel” right & each time I would pick it up they would tell me “everything is good, didn’t find anything” I trusted them to know my vehicle & I was beginning to think I was crazy! Finally someone else said it could be the transmission, so I called Dakota Transmission & Rob got me in right away, drove it & immediately knew it was the front brakes, he put it on the hoist & the front rotors were rusted out, front caliper guides wore out & brake pads were worn unevenly. Then he drove it again & found that “noise” I could hear - Both u-joints on the rear drive shaft were sieved, and informed me “This vehicle is unsafe to drive”.
Everything is fixed & is again a safe vehicle to drive!!! Drives like a brand new vehicle again!!! It feels Great to drive a safe vehicle, knowing I’m safe on the highway once more!!! I will Never go anywhere else!! GREAT MECHANICS!!

I highly recommend these guys. My son is going to school in Aberdeen and shortly after getting there the transmission went out of his pickup and they got me right in. Then 7 months later the motor blew up and we decided to install a new long block. Both times the job was done ahead of schedule and they were more than fair in their pricing. His pickup runs like new. They have earned my business for sure!!
