Went to Costello's ACE Hardware and had a great experience. The staff was very helpful and attentive to my needs. I was assisted by Jayden and was knowledgeable, patient and polite. I’ve been here twice and both times all different employees have been very rude. I assumed the first time was a one time thing but now I’m starting to think if it has something to do with the color of my skin. P.S you go to your neighbourhood local store expecting service but in this case i guess big stores have better. Also, they don’t have anything useful and/or economical in stock.

My tension shower rod collapsed this morning, and I ran over to the Ace on my lunch break in a bit of a panic. I was helped by a gentleman who was incredibly knowledgeable. He didn't just sell me a new rod; he explained why the old one likely failed on my tile walls and pointed me to a more heavy-duty model with better grips. He even gave me a quick tip on how to install it so it wouldn't slip.
