Lawrence Garcia is a downtown Albuquerque fixture and a master cobbler! I love vintage handmade boots and recently dropped off a pair of 1980's Justin exotic boots with Lawrence to be completely recrafted. The work he did was exceptional! I won't trust my boot collection to anyone else.

this place is everything a shoe repair place should be. Lawrence was super friendly, great at explaining what sort of repair would be needed based on the build of the shoe, and did amazing work. He also had a quicker turnaround time than he initially gave us. We had a pair of my wife's Frye boots re-heeled and did a full re-sole as well. my wife was blown away--they turned out great! we will be coming back here from now on.

Brought my favorite pair of loafers here for some TLC. I polish them after every use, but, they were looking tired and the leather looked dry.
Lawrence, the owner, greeted me warmly and assured me he could improve on things. I came here because other Google reviewers had such good things to say about this shop.
When I picked up my shoes, they looked brand new. Full of shine and deep color. I was amazed.
Agree with other reviewers about the warm and friendly
manner of the owner Lawrence. Superb workmanship and great prices. So nice to visit a shop where you're treated kindly by someone who truly seems to care about his work.

Recently took in another pair of shoes for new heels. These also look brand new despite being 35 years old.
Highly recommend Coronado shoe repair.

Lawrence, an honest and terribly fair priced shoe cobbler whom is an expert at his crqft. Accepts cash and credit card yet should Only accept cash as the credit fees typically outweigh what he charges you! Please keep that in mind when it comes time to pay for your high quality service. Keeping your well made (and pricey) footwear up-kept, a dying trade that is needful in this economy. On my first visit, he stretched a new leather high heel that was pinching in all of the wrong places for only $8. A loyal customer made.

This locally owned place is a MUST if you want quality shoe repair. I dropped off an old pair of wingtip shoes that were absolutely decimated. The sole was falling off, and one even had a hole in it. After the repair, they look brand-spanking new! Replaced the sole AND the heel for only 65 dollars! These shoes now will last me for many more years to come thanks to the quality craftsmanship of this shop. All done in only a week! Not to mention the amazing customer service. The owner is very friendly and is great to converse with. This shop will be the one place I let repair all my classic shoes
