Really happy with the new roof and new gutters that Community Roofing and Restoration put on my house. The extra attention they paid to dealing with the details of an older home really paid off.
My roof was done in 1 day. Everyone was on time and started working immediately. Kelly was my project manager and she was very efficient and knowledgeable. The owner is Josh and he get things done. I contacted him and he had answers for me immediately. He is a people person and willing to help you get your project done. I would recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a good company that cares about people.
We just had a roof finished. The crew had to shovel off the snow to do the tear off. These guys were working their tails off. We had some intake venting issues that Josh identified in the initial inspection. Roberto and his crew made the necessary adjustments. So far so good.
i chose Community Roofing because they have a great reputation and did my roof 22 years ago. i was most impressed with their quick response to my change of shingle color as well as their workers' care in cleaning up - i have yet to find a single nail in the yard!
We need the flat portion of our roof completely removed and new roof installed. Casey installed the roof in a very professional manner. He also added copper flashing to highlight our older home. If you want a professional job look to Community roofing and ask for Casey.
Community Roofing re-sided our Victorian house and did an excellent job. Everyone on the team was very responsive and the house looks amazing.
We hired Community Roofing & Restoration to replace our 18 year old roof shingles. They did an amazing job! We spent quite a lot of time with the owner Josh figuring out what shingles to install and the work that needed to be done. He provided outstanding advice and we couldn’t be more pleased! Project Manager Chuy and On-site Manager Ramone organized and finished the project on time and according to the bid. Class A roofing company and would highly recommend them!
We hired Community Roofing for a gutter replacement, with the work performed by their subcontractor, Morales Siding Carpentry LLC. Overall, the experience was mixed. The gutters appear to be functioning properly, and to their credit, they did return to fix an issue where some screws were not fastened into the fascia. It has rained a few times since installation, and everything seems to be working as expected, though my concerns are more about long-term performance with snow and ice. There were a couple of other issues as well. The contract specified hanger spacing at about 18 inches, but the installation was closer to 24 inches. They explained this was acceptable, but it didn’t match the contract; the contract specified 18". After requesting an adjustment because the contract wasn't met, we were given a small credit ($128) for this difference; the total contract was just over $3,900. We also noticed visible gaps between the gutters and fascia in some areas (photos included). The explanation given was related to fascia angle and gutter size, but without an independent opinion, it was hard to fully validate. It didn’t match what we expected based on our previous gutters, which did not have gaps. I did try to hire multiple inspectors and gutter companies to assess the work, but none were willing to provide a written opinion due to liability concerns. Because of that, it’s difficult for me to fully assess whether everything was done correctly, as this isn't a job that requires a permit or inspection from the city. Communication overall was the biggest issue. When questions were raised, responses were often just that things were “correct,” without much explanation. There also seemed to be a disconnect between Community Roofing and the subcontractor. At one point, the subcontractor’s project manager mentioned they had their own standards, which added to the confusion. This happened when we asked about the 24" spacing. In my opinion, the work should align with the contract specifications. Or the written specifics should match the subcontractor specs, one or the other. I will say that Kelli, the Production Manager at Community Roofing, was great to work with—responsive, professional, and clearly doing her best to help, even if some of the issues seemed outside her control. While they did make an effort to address some concerns, I wouldn’t use them again and couldn’t recommend them. If I were to do this again, I would likely work directly with the company doing the installation.
