We had a great experience buying a new Miele vacuum. Maggie was very helpful and friendly, and prices were competitive! Happy to support a small business over Amazon and great peace of mind that they're so close if we need any repairs.
Brought in an old machine to be repaired. Pricing was very reasonable and they were very flexible with delaying my pick up since I had gone on vacation. When I tried to use the machine at home the problem I was having quickly came back. I called and they promptly offered to refund me for the repair which I took and then replaced the machine as it was old and irreparable at that point. Lovely staff, very helpful. 10/10 service!
First time - forever now! I first brought my machine in for a simple tune up; she needed so much more! Mark and his team addressed everything; likely more! No matter how busy, phone calls are pleasant, information is complete and deadlines are met… even surprising you with an early completion. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a genuine belly laugh at the end of a business transaction. That’s the advantage of working with local small businesses in our communities. My top-of-the-line Miele C3 vacuum stopped working after some plastering was done in my apartment. The staff at Collingswood Sew & Vacuum took the simplest approach possible to fix the problem and their approach worked out well. They could have easily pushed for more expensive options but they wanted to get it done the least expensive way possible. They took it apart and cleaned out the motor, circuitry, and hose control panel and plug. That did the job and now the vacuum works fine. All for a very reasonable price. Through the entire transaction they were very pleasant to deal with and the price was very reasonable. Everyone in the shop w... Not only do they provide a valuable service, but the staff is super helpful And trustworthy with any questions you have concerning your machine or sewing in general. I prefer to buy items like my machine replacement needles here rather than online.
