Daniel Thornbury with Christian Brothers Roofing provided outstanding service from start to finish. This work was completed for Hikes Point Optimist, where I serve as president, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, and consistently communicated in a clear and timely way throughout the entire process. He made sure I understood each step, answered every question promptly, and followed through on everything he said he would do. His attention to detail and commitment to great customer service really stood out. I would absolutely recommend working with him if you’re looking for someone reliable and easy to work with in roofing.

We chose Christian Brothers Roofing based on strong reviews, BBB accreditation, and reputation, despite being more expensive than other companies. Roof installed on 04/21/2026. Crew completed the job in one day and cleaned up well. One worker urinated behind the barn, which was unprofessional. Gutters and gutter guards installed on 04/23/2026. Work was completed quickly and cleanup appeared good. After the first storm, I personally inspected the gutter guards and found several sections that were not properly secured or flush, leaving visible gaps where debris could get underneath. Concerned that quality control and final inspections may not have been properly completed, especially since subcontracted crews performed the work. An appointment was initially scheduled for 05/01/2026 to address the issue, but we were unable to connect that day. On 05/14/2026, Christian Brothers Roofing returned to correct the gutter guard issues and inspect the roof installation. We do appreciate the company ultimately coming back to address the concerns and inspect the work. We simply wish the communication and follow-up process had been smoother after payment was made in full.

I want to share some of the pictures of the damage, mistakes and short cuts their crews caused . Most of the issues have been corrected with two that required additional money from us. The damage in the first picture is a 4" aluminum duct from our master bath fan which I had installed when I remodeled the master bath. When the crew was leaving my wife approached them and thanked them and offered freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. They then said they needed to go into the attic to fix something. They came down and told my wife that it was good. Aaron Jenkins is calling this a temporary repair, but the company did not report this or ever indicate they would take responsibility . Every single goose neck vent installed was badly misaligned thus preventing a successful duct connection from the attic space. A new bathroom vent gooseneck vent was installed 3 feet from where it was supposed to be despite the workers being provided a detailed drawing. A major contributing factor to these errors is that Christian Brothers does not want their workers in the attic. Customers should be informed of this policy. I highly advise any customer of Christian Brothers to have their roof, siding, fascia and attic in less than three days from what they call completion. The process to get Christian Brothers to come back to your house to correct their work deficiencies is long and arduous. Devon Martin is the Operations Manager. On their website Devon says that she ensures that every project meets the company's high standards. She only looked at the roof from the ground and said the job looked great, and wanted me to write a review. I told her that was not a good idea because I had gone into the attic and found serious problems. This caused me to lose confidence in the company. So I started looking to see if there were more problems. I found damaged fascia, shingles and a real eye sore where the vinyl siding met the roof. Devon wants me to contact Owens Corning to see if there is something they will cover? But Owens Corning told me they don't cover installation errors. I went up on the roof with foam cushions and marked the bad shingles with white chalk help the workers quickly identify the shingles in question. I had texted my project manager Clay Baldwin in advance to please take care of the marked shingles and suggested that he have the workers look for other possible damaged shingles so we could finally be done with it all. My wife was there to point out the areas. But the men were told to only do what was on the work order Clay created. It would have been nice if Clay Baldwin had texted me that they had reached the point where they were just done with me. Aaron Jenkens emailed me on May 13 2026 that the period for any claims on a Christian Brother roofing job is 3 days post completion and that my roof has no warranty from him or Owens Corning now. Owens Coring told me that my roof under their warranty. I was afraid that if I payed the full balance that the company would not come back to fix things. The main reason I hired Christian Brother was to do a roof repair along and under my chimney. There was water damage to the OSB deck boards. I asked Clay Baldwin my project manager 3 times if he had men who could remove all the rotted would and replace it with new and make sure it does not leak again. He said he has those people. The company decided to just break off the deck boards and leave all the rotted wood. This is not was agreed upon. The management then stated contractual repar was outside there scope of what they do?It took many months before the owner would talk to me about how to resolve this but when he did I could tell that he was not going to re do the repair as specified in the work agreement. So I offered to pay 1/2 of the cost. The owner actually asked me how his men would be able to see the rotted wood. On the day they came to re do it I had to be the person in the attic to assist the workers because the owner would no let them under the roof because they might step on the ceiling?
