We couldn’t be more satisfied with our new white oak wood floors! When new, 8 years ago, our upstairs was almost all white oak floor's. The master bedroom and master closet were carpeted, thanks to a referral to Charlie and Jeremiah that has been upgraded. There was constant communication as to when everything was to happen. The three working teams that came to our home were amazing. They were professional, courteous and every one of them told us that we had a beautiful home! The project to match the stain was a success giving the appearance that these additions are part of the original construction. Couldn't be happier with the work CG&F did! The job involved removing old carpet, then sanding and refinishing the hardwood floors underneath. Dennis is very experienced and knowledgeable, and also great to talk with. He took time to answer all of my questions and share his experience and suggestions with me. He went above and beyond to make sure the flooring was properly finished, including filling in old holes where cables were no longer needed and securing any boards that needed it to reduce movement and squeeking. The floors look great and totally gave new life to my home!

Jeremiah and his team were AMAZING! We are trying to get our house on the market quickly and had some issues with our previous engineer hardwoods. Jeremiah went above and beyond and took the time to call the manufacturer of our floors to find out if they could be refinished, which no other contractor did. We ended up replacing them with oak, and Jeremiah got his team in our house quickly to help with our timelines. The new floors are gorgeous!! The CG&F team is incredibly responsive, helpful, and do a great job! We would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had a great experience with CG&F flooring and highly recommend them. They are professional, EXPERTS at wood flooring, and fairly priced. We had a lot of flooring to replace and knew we did not want to return to carpets due to allergies—I looked into a lot of waterproof vinyl, hardwood, and engineered wood. I visited many local stores (pricing is always displayed) and ultimately got a quote from NFM for engineered wood. It was a very high quote and wouldn’t be able to be sanded and re-stained in the future. A friend insisted we contact Charlie at CG&F just to see what he said/quoted (I later found out many people we know have used them...I had a great experience with CG&F flooring and highly recommend them. The guys on their team who did the install, sanding, staining, etc. are SO experienced and EXCELLENT at what they do—I felt so happy and comfortable having them working here in our home. Aside from their beauty, we love that we no longer have squeaky floors and steps and due to the way we had it installed, there are no ridges between each board-- it’s totally seamless and so easy to clean. HIGHLY recommend. Great local family company. I'm only attaching a couple of pictures but every room is incredible.
