Cat is a joy to work with. She caught our vision for our yard so quickly and expanded on it in ways we couldn't have expected. We are so excited to get started and see her design realized. We are so thankful for Cat and her talents.
We worked with Cat on an hourly basis a few years ago for ideas for our yard. After a recent addition to our home, we needed more help on a plan for our front yard and worked with Cat on a full landscape design plan. She is extremely knowledgeable, has a great eye for design and was so helpful in visualizing how to make the addition fit in with the house through the landscape design. She also turned around the final design very quickly! We felt the work was completely worth what we paid and look forward to fully implementing her design!
We hired Cat to develop a landscape plan for our home, and could not be happier with what she delivered. We gave her minimal direction, answered the few up front questions she asked us during her initial site visit and then let her do her thing. We were blown away by what she gave us. The plan was thoughtful, artistic and perfectly suited to our unique home site. She put everything together in less time than she quoted in her verbal estimate, and sat down with us to review that same week. She brought a full binder of plant descriptions/pictures and thoroughly reviewed every inch of the plan with us to ensure we were on board with the "vision"... We hired Cat to develop a landscape plan for our home, and could not be happier with what she delivered. Many of her proposed plantings have options or alternates, which gives us some flexibility and choice in crafting the final aesthetic. She also provided several recommendations for landscape contractors to execute the plan, at once or in phases. Landscape, hardscape and lighting, we got the whole package. All that said, both of us could not be more pleased. Cat was professional, genuine, friendly and just an absolute delight to work with. Her work product is old school and it is exceptional. If you are looking for the best, I don't know if you could do better than her.
It has been a pleasure working with Cat Valand. She is very enthusiastic about her work and was diligent trying to understand our needs and desires. After a meticulous survey of the property, Cat created an accurate planning map. It was exciting to review the final plan with her! It has taken several days to "digest" the plan but we're looking forward to its implementation. Great job Cat!
