Cameras Etc

If you need a camera or equipment, this is the place to go! I was recommended this spot by Kathleen Buckalew, an incredibly talented local photographer who suggested I check out the camera stores on Main Street in Newark. This place has it all, and, better yet, the owner/employees know so much that you'll struggle to find the end of their knowledge. In addition to purchasing new and used camera lenses, you can also rent them for a day to get a feel for whether they're what you want to buy. They'll also take the time to walk you through how everything works, which is something you can't get from an online shop.

Hands down the best camera store and best people. My camera’s lens was messed up due to an accident, and the camera store elsewhere told me it would cost me more than 300$ to replace the lens, and the person here fixed the lens within 5 minutes. Did not even charge me a single penny for it🥺 Would highly recommend recommend for all your camera repairs and purchases. PS: it’s the long hair person.

I’ve always been very impressed by Cameras Etc in Newark, Delaware. I’ve bought cameras, lenses and other equipment from them. Nothing, however, will top my experience today. A couple of weeks ago I bought a Nikon Z8 from them. Today the release mode button was not working and the ‘i” menu was completely changed. I tried everything including resetting to factory settings to correct the problem. Nothing worked. I went to see Dane at Cameras Etc. He solved the problem in less than a minute. Great little shop, owner and associate were very nice and helpful. Fair Prices, helpful staff, nice selection of film. Helped me figure out a battery solution for a 60s 8mm and of course I left with a nice camera impulse purchase. I’ll be back again for sure!
