Cain Fence and Deck

Chris and his crew did a magnificent job on our fence and deck. They were sensitive to our budget constraints as well.

Cain's crew built the fence I wanted, for a fair price, on schedule, and with straight-up professionalism. They also did an excellent job refinishing my iron porch rails and wooden deck rails. All the work was done with minimal disturbance to my plantings, and clean-up was excellent. Highly recommended contractor.

I would highly recommend Chris and his guys! The were timely and efficient and they do great work! Will definitely be using them again.

Cain and crew replaced our old decking with new cedar, and built a great looking covered section with cedar posts and a metal roof - nice work!

Chris, his crew, and their work are excellent. I enjoyed his dead pan humor, and his underpromise over deliver ethic. We got two Irish Wolfhound puppies, and walking them was taking up so much time we decided to finally fence our yard and add stairs to our our back deck so that the dogs and our seven year old could access the back yard that way safely. It has been a quality of life improvement. The stairs are chunky and sturdy, matching the deck and the front of the house stairs perfectly. We are just school teaches, and so this unexpected improvement was a huge splurge, and we are super glad we did it. It already looks like it's always been there. Thanks Chris and crew... These guys know their stuff! We used them for a small paver path and deck (which involved some intricacies/not completely straight forward, but they didn’t blink at that). We got several quotes, but they were the clear choice due to easy and prompt communication, follow-through on things as promised, skill in their craft, and fair pricing. Inevitable hiccups were handled with integrity and Chris was very professional, available, and kind, from start to finish.

Last summer I had Chris Cain and his team completely rebuild my front deck and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They customized the stairs with a shorter rise to make it easier and safer for me to go up and down with my cane. I also had them add an acrylic cover so I can enjoy the deck even when raining. The team was friendly and communicative and responsive to all the issues that come up during a project like this. Recently I asked them to build a bench to fit along one end of the deck and one of his team came out and had it built in under two days. The seat is hinged to allow for storage underneath, and vertical pieces along the front make it more decorative than the average bench. He was also able to incorporate and showcase a couple mosaics that have a lot sentimental value for me. I’m very happy with my deck and the bench. I highly recommend Chris Cain and his team!

Chris and crew were great to work with and did great work! They replaced our front steps and some side steps. They were super fast getting the work done and they were very affordable. I am so grateful we got this done with them!

I highly recommend Chris and his crew! They did an incredible job, building me a larger deck with an acrylic roof so I can still use it in the rain. The guys were always on time, always worked hard through the many problem areas and were so friendly and professional. I should also mention that they had to completely remove the shoddy, not up-to-code work already started by another contractor. The final result is better than I had hoped for. I’m very very happy!

I have used Cain Fence and Deck twice, once for a fence in my front yard and again for a pergola and concrete work on my front porch. Chris worked with us to build a design that fit our needs and gave us full confidence that our design decisions were well thought out. He helped us navigate water mitigation issues and pillar placements that helped us get the best use of the space. His crew was a true pleasure, going above and beyond to clean up after their work. They were efficient and easy to have around, not something I can say about previous construction projects. When our fence gate had issues he quickly fixed the problem -- they stand by their work!
