The job was completed in the exact time frame (3 days) and for the exact amount originally quoted. We are writng this review one year after the work was completed, and we are happy to report that we have not had a single issue with water in our basement. We are extremely happy with the service, fairness, and professionalism of Bracken Waterproofing. We highly recommend them if you are looking for a professional waterproofing contractor that will not charge the outrageous prices of the bigger waterproofing companies.

Needed a company to fix my home's crawl space foundation central supports, block exterior vents, grade and do a full enclosed encapsulation. This company gave us the best price for the quality, compared to other contractors in the area. Chris quoted us, saying the company could do all the work that was needed. He seemed like a knowledgeable contractor, so we started off with the company. After getting the initial quote I realized that Chris's measurements were too short. After contacting him about the error and him fixing the quote, I realized the new quote had an attachment and porch that couldn't be encapsulated included. After fixing the quote again, I realized there were other services that were not listed that needed to be included. So the quote had to be updated again, for the third time. This was very frustrating because it was taking so long and so many errors were being made, but we stuck with it, determined to get it done. While this communication was going on, Chris kept coming back to the house to confirm. After 3 house visits and 3 weeks of communication, everything was set with Chris and the company owner Dan. The job was scheduled for August 8 and my husband and I were excited and ready to go! The crew showed up and the Head crewman asked me some questions and then they all disappeared for 30 minutes. When I saw them later they were taking the liners to the back of my house. I did not see any of the equipment for the foundation work, which needed to be done first. Then the Head crewman came to speak to me again and stated that the grading was more extensive than the quote. (Really, Chris came to my house and was in the crawlspace on 3 different occasions and knew the extent of it, but okay.) I said that the quote stated that leveling was a part of the job and that if they couldn't do it then there wasn't a job. So, the crew never intended to do the full extent of the work we hired them for. Instead of contacting Chris or Dan and giving me a bid for the “additional” amount of work, the crew gathered all the liners, loaded up their truck and disappeared. Before leaving, the Head crewman advised me that my deposit check would be mailed back to me that week. I've tried to contact Chris or the owner Dan, to no avail. I still haven't received my deposit check back. It's now August 20th and still nothing. Before hiring, I made sure this company was a real licensed business with liability insurance but I guess that doesn’t matter anymore. Would NOT recommend. Wasted a lot of my husband 's and my time and money.

Danny came out quickly to look at the project and was able to give me a reasonable quote on the spot. After my buyers dragged their feet for 2 weeks trying to decide if they wanted to take a credit they returned to the original plan of having the install completed before we could close on the house. I reached back out to Danny and he was able to rearrange the schedule to get his team out to get the work done less than a week after contact.
