I called to make an appointment to have them look at my car. I mentioned I wanted to use my insurance. The man on the phone asked me which company I use. I said progressive and proceeded to tell me I was wrong about my insurance payment options and he's worked with them for 20 years so he knows better. Then he refused to help me or even give me an estimate/appointment. I just got off the phone with progressive (again to double check) They said you're wrong. Hands down best mechanic in Vermont. This place is a true gem. We've been taking our cars to Bouchard & Son's Garage for 30 years for all kinds of maintenance and routine inspection on the 10+ cars we've owned over the years. Dan and his team are true automotive professionals - they care about you and your car's safety and can do any kind of auto repair you need. Recently had some minor bodywork completed by Bouchard & Sons Garage. Our insurance had them on their "list" but more importantly I've had a chance to bring cars here a few times over decades. The staff is pleasant to work with, they are upfront about every detail, and the workmanship is great. They even gave me some insight into my car that they noticed with the bumper removed. Useful and appreciated! Also they did a great job washing and cleaning the car before pick-up, which I did not expect. Thank you!
