We contacted Big Joe’s for a warm refrigerator. After diagnosis by Max, it was determined the compressor went out. All our options were explained to us and we decided to do the repair vs buying a new refrigerator. James came and replaced the compressor. After a few weeks we noticed the refrigerator was not holding temperature. Max quickly came back out and it was determined that either the new compressor was flawed or there was a Freon leak. James came back out and did a thorough check of the refrigerator and it was determined there was a Freon leak in an inaccessible area of the refrigerator. I have worked with Big Joe Appliance twice now and will continue going to them and recommending them to my friends. The guys we worked with (Max and Alex) were excellent. They were professional, kind, thorough, and seem to truly look out for their customers. As a woman, I can’t always be confident that men are being honest with me about what is necessary for a repair. This guy overcharges!! He fixed an appliance and when i looked at the actual manufacturer website it states that the price to fix the issue was half or more than half than what this guy charged us. Very shameful to take advantage of people who may not have known what to ask or what to look for. Check this guys yelp reviews which seems more accurate to our experience with him than these inflated google reviews.

We recently needed a major repair to our Subzero freezer. Since we were pleased with a previous service of Big Joe Appliance Repair we called upon them again. Max promptly came out to diagnose the problem and in a few days when the part came in, he and James fixed our freezer. We found that the whole process went very smoothly and the communication was easy. They always answered their phone and texted us to keep us informed. We recommend them and will call them again if we ever have the need.
