Good mechanics capable of handling tough diesel work. I was passing through town and needed a vacuum pump replacement on my 7.3 Powerstroke. They knocked out the work that even required a bit of engineering (AC compressor deletion) on their end. I'm now smiling again with the Texas wind in my sails.
Had some trouble with my breaks while camping at Big Bend. I had a 9 hour drive ahead of me to get home. They got me in and out in a couple hours and I could make my drive without anxiety.
The team at Big Bend Auto Repair were great! They fixed a failed tie rod quickly and at a fair price and got me back on the road in a couple of hours. They even recommended a good towing service to get me from Terlingua up to Alpine so I was towed, repaired, and back on the road the same day. I’m glad to know these guys are there for the next 4x4 adventure.
