Baxter's Appliance Repair

I had a Frigidaire dishwasher with loud humming when cycles switched. Was under warranty with consumer priority. Repair man came out hears the loud noise opened the dishwasher said it was the motor. I showed him interesting facet that when I leaned on the door when humming was going on the humming stopped. Well if it was the motor the humming would not have stopped when I leaned on the door. The door opens and snaps shut fine. He replaced the door lock previously that would not snap shut. So maybe it had to do with that issue. Anyway he submitted an estimate of repair with labor cost to consumer priority. They said it was beyond economical repair and offered me a prorated buyout. My warranty was good till Nov. 2027. The dealer who I bought from wasn't pleased to hear he just opened door listened and deemed motor issue. In the mean time I'm getting less for the washer, have to pay full price for new one plus delivery charge and install which is 150.00. Not happy at all with this service company
