I had a fantastic experience in every way with this store. I called in about 10 min ‘til 4 about having someone come out & install a new car battery for me, which they do for free. That happens to be a big bonus, IMO. I spoke with Levi who went over my information, made sure they had the battery in stock, & then told me that he needed to call the tech who does off-site installs to see what their schedule was like & would call me right back. He, in fact, did call back within minutes to let me know that they could be at my place by 5:00. He let me know that they would be in touch when they were on their way. I received a call from Levi around 4:30 to apologize & let me know that it would be closer to 5:30. This didn’t bother me in the least, & I appreciated the update. The men arrived shortly after 5:30 & quickly got to work. They were very quick & efficient in removing my old corroded battery, cleaning off any remaining corrosion & installing the new one. My car didn’t automatically start up, so they let me know that sometimes the negative connector needs to be left off for 10-15 min. They patiently waited, reconnected it & my car started right up. They made sure I was good before giving me a printout of the receipt with the total to call in my payment. Throughout the entire process they were both extremely friendly, respectful & knowledgeable. When I called the store to pay, I once again spoke to Levi who made sure that everything went well, & that I was good to go. The whole process was a breeze, & it was honestly the best experience I’ve had with any shop regarding my car. Not to mention, I was shocked at how inexpensive the battery itself was, despite getting the best one with a 3 year warranty. I can’t recommend them enough!
Walked into the store around 4:30 and was greeted by an employee behind the counter who asked us what we needed. I said that we needed an iPhone battery replaced and the employee said “oh well we close at 6 so I don’t think we can help you today.” …strike #1. The employee then said “yeah I’m worked on this tablet screen and some other guy is doing a back glass so we can’t.” Cool story, don’t care. Another employee came over and asked us what kind of phone it was, i told him and I mentioned that it had been replaced by this store less than a year ago and asked about the warranty. The employee rudely said “yeah no we got a new system so we don’t have a record of that. It’ll be $90 today.” Okay? Thanks… strike #2. The same employee said that it was 4:30 and they close at 6 (again) so he couldn’t get to it. When I said “is there anyway we can try to get it done today?” He said, “ugh, yeah, but I’ll probably break the back glass.” Fine whatever. It took him all of 15 minutes to change the battery, was too bothered to make sure the phone turned on, and did not seem interested in plugging it in to make sure the phone worked properly. We were out of there before 5pm… a whole hour before the store closed. As someone who works in customer service, I was appalled by this interaction. Do better. This was horrendous and extremely unprofessional.
