Pretty poor resole job, visible inner edge/lack of binding between the toe and sole pieces. The bottom sole had a small notch that got caught on the rock while climbing and accelerated the delam process.
The worst bit was they wouldn't return my calls or give me any notification on what was going on; this was especially bad because they took 3 MONTHS to get em done. The boys on mountain proj said bcc were the king, but I won't use them again. Seems like my experience was a fluke, but I'm not about it.

Outstanding Craftsmanship and Service!
I sent in two pairs of shoes for repair—one pair of well-worn hiking boots and a pair of shoes for outdoor work that I have had for many years—and I couldn’t be more impressed with the work Backcountry Cobblers did. The attention to detail, quality of materials, and obvious pride in craftsmanship really stand out.
I used the "Trust the Cobbler" option to let them decide what work was needed, and the entire process was seamless. It was clear from the results that they know exactly what they’re doing—both pairs came back looking and feeling better than new, with a finish that shows true respect for the f...Outstanding Craftsmanship and Service!

Jay and the team clearly care about both quality and sustainability. The turnaround time was very accurate and reasonable. The whole experience reminded me why it’s worth investing in good work. I’ll definitely be sending more shoes their way in the future. Highly recommended!
Thank you, Backcountry Cobblers, for your exceptional service and craftsmanship!

They did such a clean job resoling my evolve shamans, better than new! Jay is so easy to work with and for a very reasonable price as well. They also cleaned up my cowboy boots and did a great job on them too.

I want to thank you, Jay, for helping me resole my climbing shoes! Just got them back in the mail. Looked great. I sure appreciate you being here so I don't have to buy a new pair and just throw these out.

What a great service! I’m so happy there is an option to give new life to my shoes. He put Vibram soles on my worn down clogs which had made them quieter, have better traction, and will last much longer. I also got brand new soles and fabric repair on a pair of fun shoes and repair to some torn areas on my hiking boots. Highly recommend!
