I reached out about because my computer was not turning on all of a sudden. Matthew was very knowledgeable when speaking on the phone about my issue. I dropped it off the following day. He was able to get it fixed within a couple hours. He took time to discuss changes that I could make with my settings to make my computer last longer and run better. I would highly recommend! For Christmas I gifted my husband with a repair to his gaming computer which wasn’t working at all due to outdated parts, and while I know absolutely nothing about computers, Matthew was able to help explain in detail how he intended to fix the issue and even installed a part for me that I didn’t originally ask him about but needed an update. I’ve taken my gaming pc here a few times now (due to bad luck) and he’s been great at diagnosing the issues. He’s got all the testing tools and explains all the results. $50 for a diagnosis is a great price for us as a consumer.
Matthew, who is the person in charge at the repair shop was absolutely great as usual. I repaired my laptop with him before and when another (very unlikely) issue occurred with it a few months later, he fixed the issue on very fair and respectable terms. Meaning, he was very generous with his offer (more generous than any other business’s) and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. I didn’t even have time to get home and it was already fixed! I would most definitely recommend Average Joe due to their fast fixes, personal approach, and overall quality of the work.
Matthew is wonderful! I have had several computers fixed by him and 2 recycled with DOD wipe of the hard drive. He is cordial, efficient and extremely competent and professional. He listens to what I need and responds accordingly. I highly recommend him for all of your computer needs.
