I had 7 windows of my 30-year old house that needed repair. The balance pivot lock shoes were rusted and had to be replaced. It was not an easy job and the 2 technicians who came to my house had to remove each window and bring it outside to their truck for repair. It took about 2 hours to complete the work and I was very pleased with the outcome. Argo was a pleasure to deal with. They were communicative, polite, and reasonably priced. I spent several hours researching other window repair companies in the Charlotte area and had 2 other companies provide me with quotes. Argo was hands-down the very best. We hired Argo Glass Company to complete one section of repairing our home’s windows. While they were on site and actively working, we pointed out concerns with one specific window. At the time, we were told everything was fine and that there was no issue.
After later seeking opinions from other professionals, it became clear that there was in fact a problem with that same window. We contacted Argo Glass to discuss how to properly address it, expecting a reasonable resolution—especially since the window had already been opened, worked on, and sealed back up by their team.

We contacted Argo Glass to discuss how to properly address it, expecting a reasonable resolution—especially since the window had already been opened, worked on, and sealed back up by their team.
Instead, the company appeared far more concerned with collecting their remaining payment than standing behind their work. They quoted us an extra $500, and told us the issue is actually with TWO windows and to go back and to fix an issue that should have been addressed when it was first raised during the original visit. This was particularly frustrating given that there are still other sections of windows in our home that were planned to be repaired in future phases.
What made the situation worse was that while we were in the middle of going back and forth trying to figure out an appropriate solution, we were threatened with a lien being placed on our house unless payment was made. This felt extremely aggressive and unprofessional, especially while the work and responsibility for the issue were still being discussed.
Overall, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and focus on money over completing the job correctly has caused us to lose confidence in continuing with this company.

Very disappointed with this company. They initially came out to replace the transom window and the side windows around our front door casement. They had to come back after the installation because there was black caulking showing through the glass. They did a mediocre job as you can still see caulking.
Over this winter now ice started to form around the edges of the glass inside our home around the areas they installed. I texted pictures and called them and waited for a response for a couple of days. When they responded, they said that it was due to the cold weather and we would have to wait until spring before they would look at it. This is...Very disappointed with this company. TL/DR: Great service, good price, quick install.
We called for a quote, within a couple of days they came out. The price was pretty fair, aligned with others we'd gotten. Paul even fixed one of the windows in the living room that had slipped off the track.
We needed the front window replaced (32*48), as the glass had cracked. We also needed new tilt clips installed in the upstairs bedroom, so it slide up and down without falling out.
The time from quote to install was approximately 3 weeks.

Alex came out and did the whole job in less than an hour. The front glass (which when removed meant we had a huge amount of freezing air blowing into our home) was fixed so quickly we only went without a window for 5 minutes.
I would recommend their services for their speed, efficiency and quality of service. Their techs were great; friendly and efficient.
