I have been trying to contact Appliance Repair LA via email and phone but am not getting any response back. Our appt. was scheduled last week for 8-11 am slot, but apparently due to a system glitch the spaces got filled, but they didn't inform us. At 11 they said they'd be on site by 1:00. At 1:00 they said tech was delayed, but again no call to update us. At 1:45 tech said they would be on site in 1/2 hour, but again no show, no call. Tech finally arrived at 3:00.....
I was told to expect an emailed quote advising cost to repair my stove and lead time on parts, but no one ever emailed. I've called and emailed several times asking how long it should take to receive a quote, but no one will respond.
It's disappointing because we missed some important family events waiting for tech and my husband rearranged his work schedule as well. We spent hours waiting to find out what was wrong with our range, but now can't move forward. It's never a great time to have your stove break, but it's especially disappointing during the Holiday season when a pandemic is going on and we're being told to stay at home. I would like to be able to bake/prepare meals but am stuck in limbo now.
11/30/20 follow up to Business response:
1. The response of Appliance Repair LA makes it sound like they spoke to me twice today, and then I wrote a bad review. I called and emailed several times over the last several days and they didn't respond until I sent this review in the evening.
2. The response time of the manufacturer regarding parts is in no way the fault of APLA, nor is it listed here. I am upset with the lack of communication regarding showing up for the appt. and the lack of communication responding to my request for info on how long it takes to receive a quote. After the poor service received regarding the appointment I expected we would be responded to in a timely manner, if only to make up for the series of appt. errors.
3. I requested a late afternoon appointment on the phone for Friday. You sent an email saying my appt. was for 8-11 am and I accepted it despite the error on your part. Your tech did not arrive between 8-11, the time frame you chose to slot us. When we called you stated your system made a mistake, and said he'd be there by 1:00. No one arrived at 1:00. We called and you sounded shocked and said you would check with the tech. Later he called and said he would arrive within 1/2 hour, and he didn't. At no point did we say to arrive by a certain time ,we only asked you when your tech would come and despite multiple times given you didn't meet any of them.
4. Traffic is quite a mess in L.A. but Google maps does provide estimated time of arrival. We did not pick the time of arrival, your tech did.
I find your response here to be very misleading and disappointing. You know the errors that were made and your response is very unprofessional.
