Not only did they come the same day I called 1/2/26 but within the time frame they stated. My refrigerator/freezer died on New Years Eve.
Wentzy was my technician. He was so kind and very helpful. I had mentioned that we had a 2 minute power outage on New Years Eve. He said he had just come from another customer that also had the outage. That man’s refrigerator came back on after turning off and on the circuit breaker. Mine was similar. I did need a part but my 23 year old refrigerator/freezer was up and running.
I am so pleased with their honesty and workmanship. I would hire them again in a hear...Appliance King of America was just wonderful.

My Bosch microwave was hit with a power surge so I called and spoke to Mary Lou and she told me they can fix Bosch appliances so the diagnostic visit was scheduled for the next day. Their policy is that if they come out and diagnose the problem, but I refuse the repair service, they keep the service call of $160. In other responses to negative reviews, the service call charge guarantees a proper diagnosis, so I wasn't too concerned about their high service call charge. The technician looked at the outside of the microwave, never pulled it out of the wall to open it up and look at the actual workings. He called someone and actually, within earshot, told the person on the other end of the phone that he had never done one of these repairs before, with confidence, he told me it was the outside control panel, looked up the price, told me it 's very expensive and it needed to be replaced. I agreed to the repair and paid a deposit of $808. He would be back that following Monday to install the new part. Needless to say, I was not feeling great about his ability to fix it so I actually asked him if he thought he could really fix it and he said "that's what we do". He showed up on Monday with the new control panel face, pulled out the directions and started to read. He proceeded to slightly pull out the microwave and follow the directions on how to install the front panel. After about 30 mins., he had the new part connected and it still didn't work. He said it must be something burned out in the electrical system of the microwave and that I would need a new one. He said Mary Lou would refund my money. Then he left. Since I had no confidence in this technician, I called another appliance repair company. They came out that afternoon, completely opened up the "guts" of the microwave and found the burned out circuit board and two switches-they showed me the burn marks and explained the replacement process. They returned the following day with the parts and it was fixed within 30 mins. I was thrilled .
Due to no fault on my part and ALL the fault on the company and the technician, who was nice, but was not the most professional, they refused to refund my $160 service call after misdiagnosing the problem, admitting he had never done a repair like mine, and then telling me I needed a completely new microwave which would have cost about $4000. So Mary Lou is willing to face a charge back for my payment, bad business practice, and a horrible review for $160. Stay away from this company. They showed no ethics nor apologized for their terrible service
