From the our initial appointment with Appalachian Air Ducts, Kevin (the owner) and Elliott (their technician) to the finished outcome were outstanding. The inspection of our ductwork, the explanation of the results, guidance through the planning and the designing of our new air ducts, and the completion of the project were the best that we could ever hope for. Everyone were prompt on their arrival times, worked extremely hard throughout the project, and communicated well. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the outcome. I tried to clean our dryer vent myself in a 25 year old house and made a big mess. I called Appalachian in the evening, spoke with Kevin, he came out the next morning, looked at our situation, made a recommendation to bring the vent up to code, completed the work in a couple of hours with new materials, took pictures of the new vent in our crawl space, remounted the outside vent cover, all at a very reasonable price. We were lucky that he could complete the work so quickly and affordably. If you need any work done at home and not fall for over priced franchise or big box stores call Elliott and Kevin. Elliott not only took time to understand the problem but also provided options in terms of fix versus replacement, pros and cons. I can go on and on but fact of the matter is that whole house air ducts cleaning including replacement of plenum and resealing the duct work took almost a day because they were thorough and wanted to ensure work was done properly and perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone even planning to get work done to call them first before you get any franchise stored a call. Kevin, Elliot and Bob did an exceptional job restoring our indoor air quality. The existing HVAC ductwork suffered from poor quality workmanship from the original installation. Dust had gotten into them from the attic, and the condensation from the system had created mold on top of the dust. They cleaned ductwork, replaced ductwork and installed new clean air purifiers in all three of our HVAC systems. We highly recommend Appalachian Air Ducts!
