We needed to have a new 8 ft. tall, cedar fence with metal posts (along with 2 new gates) installed --after a car crashed into our old one. A & O did a great job - it looks so classy and fantastic! We have already gotten compliments from 2 random people driving by while we were outside gardening about a week later!
It was easy to work with A&O Texas Solutions Fence and Patio through our sales representative, Diego, who came over -on time the day after the accident -to give us a reasonable estimate and who answered our many questions and phone-calls throughout the process. He also helped us deal with the (unfriendly/ at fault) car insurance company's demands...and I was beyond thankful.
The building crew came within a week to start the job and it only took them 2 days to complete! Ricki, Daisy and Clemente arrived on time each morning by 8am with all of the materials to our preferred (color) specifications, and were very friendly and professional as they quickly went to work. They set the posts the first day and cleaned up and took away the old fence and all debris. Thankfully, they were able to wrap a temporary orange mesh-type of barrier around our entire private backyard overnight for security, using the new posts as they dried overnight - which was much appreciated.
The following day, the crew came to install the wooden fence and greatly satisfied all of our requests...including a special one to ensure no gaps would be at the bottom... for the safety of our two medium-sized dogs.
Clemente did a great job placing horizontal boards all the way around the perimeter of the backyard... and then they ALL used that as a base to install the gorgeous, vertical cedar boards -over lapping it -which sealed the bottom wonderfully while also making the fence even taller! We love that!
AND we were also so glad to see that they had been able to slightly move the placement of the entire fence to a few inches wider on all sides as they had set the new metal posts beyond the old wooden ones which they cut flush to the ground. The result makes our whole backyard feel a lot bigger and definitely more secure with the taller height. Daisy went above and beyond cutting a small tree limb for us which was interfering with the top of the fence and made sure to rake around the bottom perimeter so there would be no gaps anywhere that our dogs might see light and try to dig out.
Ricki was great at beautifully building the 2 new, sturdy and tall gates that open so smoothly now... with the classic black hinges, closures and handle styles we chose- while also giving us a little more space at the entrances which had some specific and problematic placement issues that he was able to work around and customize on the spot.
All in all, we are very pleased and would highly recommend A&O... they did everything we asked and MUCH MORE!

A&O Fencing & Jose delivered a 5 star experience throughout the entire process. They are well priced, hard working, and executed on an amazing fence build. Their responsiveness was quick. The crew was friendly and showed up on time. We have a complicated slopped yard - they built a step design to keep the look level with an espresso stain & cap & trim. Also two gates. A real value add to our property. 5 stars and definitely recommend!

After assembling all returned quotes A&O seemed to be the better value. Diego came to the house to measure and look at the details. We asked for the Iron fence option listed on the proposal which was cheaper than Aluminum. Diego then tells us the iron fence was not available in the 4’ 3-rail style we wanted but the Aluminum 4’ 3-rail style was very much available and easily accessible. We paid the deposit and were told the crew would be at our house the next Wednesday to install the fence. Three of us took the day off work to be at home when the fence was being installed, I drove up from San Antonio to be there (4.5 hour drive each way). Wednesday arrives and nobody shows up in the morning. We call Diego around 10am or so with no answer to phone calls from the office or text messages to Diego. Around noon Daisy the Project Manager gets back with us and informs us they did not have enough of the fence to do our small job. This is not what we were told. So now we all took off work and I drove from SA the evening before just to be there and now it’s not happening as promised. Daisy tells us she will try to get more material that afternoon and get back to us in 30 minutes or so. The whole day goes by without any communication and we are getting very frustrated since Daisy or Diego is not answering their phones or texts. Diego gets back to us around 8pm and gives us 3 options that all needed to be ordered, not what we were wanting and would not be available until the next week. That was not what we were told the entire time we set this work up. We asked for our deposit back and were told it would be done the next morning and did not happen for 4 days. The communication and professionalism from this team was extremely disappointing.

After 10AM daisy gets back to us at noon saying they did not have the material for same day install and would get back to us in an hour. 8PM rolls around and Diego called with different options than what was promised. Adding to the fact this material would have to be ordered in and they could do the job in 1-2 weeks.
We chose to withdraw our deposit and use another install service. After requesting our deposit back, We were told Diego would process the deposit next day and send confirmation. I instead received text from another project manager, apologizing and trying to take over our job and promising a better experience and recovery. All in all we refused their service and took 4 full days for the deposit to be returned.
Totally off putting experience from what seemed like a safe and friendly option from the online reviews. The communication was a massive failing point and was very disappointing.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our fence it’s gorgeous. Their company representative Diego did a wonderful job listening to our questions and concerns along with, having the solutions vs pawning is off to someone else. ( tree removal and extra sturdy gate) Also, he was great a customer communication throughout the project. The two crew shifts were very respectful not only to us but our neighbor as well completing the work in a timely fashion ( they even without us asking put a temporary fence up so the dogs could run while concrete was drying).
Our neighbors keep telling us how gorgeous our fence is and we couldn’t agree more. If you need a...We couldn’t be more pleased with our fence it’s gorgeous.
