Car quit driving. Wouldn’t move forward or backward and wasn’t quiet about it. Had it towed to Al’s on Sunday when he wasn’t even open. Drove it off Al’s lot Monday afternoon (that’s the next day, for those keeping score) with a new CV Axle Shaft and Stabilizer Bar Link for $800, parts and labor. I know Amazon parts aren’t always the best marker, but another shop charged me $450 for a coolant pump listed on Amazon for $150 last year. $169 to $153 for an axle shaft seems more in the realm of what’s reasonable. Al's Automotive's service is above & beyond. I am deeply impressed and appreciative. The mechanical work is excellent. The price is reasonable, and lower than competitors. They did me a huge favor by completing the job as quickly and efficiently as they did. My girl and I were on a road trip, camping around Arizona, when our alternator required emergency replacement. We were basically living out of our car and Al managed to obtain the part and return our car to us within two days. Many thanks, from the east coast. Take care, ya'll.

Not to be dramatic, But quite honestly Al's Automotive saved my life...well, for sure my sanity. My friend and I were traveling back from what was supposed to be a 24 hour trip to Pasadena for a concert, then back to Phoenix. On our way back my car overheated, causing us to have to pull over on the side of the highway. Three hours later, we finally were able to get my car towed to the nearest town by, Indio, CA. I originally had it dropped off at another automotive shop. Unfortunately this shop did not work on VW cars, but they recommended Al's Shop. Highly recommend this automotive shop. I had a terrible noise coming from the front end of my car. They were able to get me scheduled for the next day to see what was causing it. They only had the car a few hours and we're able to fine the problem. He gave me a quote and I decided to have them do the job. They got my car done when they said they would and I was charged exactly what he quoted me at. We will be bringing any work needed on our cars to this company.

Al's Automotive has worked on my Father's truck, Mother's car, my Son's car and my truck. Each of us have had a great experience there. Al and his staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are spot on and the work is completed in a timely manner. I would say if you have anything going on with your ride go see Al.
