Did great work on my guitar. Installing a new rolling nut, locking tuners and saddles, and general much needed maintenance. I live an hour away and was well worth the drive.

i am writing this to give my review of alex's training classes. I took alex's 1day setup training class previously and was impressed,so i just took alex's 1 week apprenticeship class (10-13/10-17)...i would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in guitar repairing and/ or just doing your own work to take the 1 week course. Alex will walk you through each aspect of guitar repair from setups,fret leveling,replacing to nut and saddle making from scratch using bone and you will have complete hands on from beginning to end. I had Alex do some cosmetic changes to my strat. I also wanted to get rid of the tone knobs. He ordered a custom pickguard for me. He was patient when I changed my mind a few times. The setup is the best I’ve ever played. The worst part is, I now plan to have him set up all of my guitars, and so I’ll be spending money.
