The experience started with Tom stopping by for a free estimate. He was very thorough and in depth with explaining everything. Fantastic! The working crew showed up ready to work and explained everything that they were going to do and asked if I had any questions. They were very hard workers and very nice. I 100% would recommend All-Star Basements for any home project!
They did a pretty good job waterproofing a basement for us with drain tile. Reasonable price. However, when the sump pump broke a few years later, I contacted them several times by phone, email, and text inquiring about replacing the pump. Never heard back from anyone. Even if they don't come back and service pumps on their old jobs, a simple reply message would have sufficed saying that they don't do that. Updated: they contacted me after seeing this review. Still not sure what happened, but they said they never got my communications. I definitely called (busy phone lines) both numbers, sent text message replies to their automated text (whi... I contacted All-Star because they were a Rochester based company. I made the apt for the following week and Tom came out. Told us what they would do and what to expect. Their crew was out on the scheduled date and went right to work. Quickly finish in a few hours later, explained everything to us. Could not be happier!
All-Star Basements has exceptional customer service. However I have concerns about their French Drain installation. They installed a French Drain system at my home in late 2021 that has needed to be serviced twice due to poor installation. First for root intrusion and the following year for a bad junction. In both cases they were very responsive to resolve the issues but my concern for the rest of the system remains.
