Nate at Alaskan Auto Care Was amazing to work with! He is always so friendly, helpful, and knows what he is talking about (he knew exactly what was wrong with my car based on my description of the problem alone!). I would recommend him as the mechanic-of-choice to anyone needing anything from a simple service to a more complicated repair! 5 stars all day.
I was referred to Alaskan Auto Care, LLC. (Houston, AK) by my daughter-in-law, Julie. Nate was able to add me to his busy schedule 3 days before Christmas & completed my repair (inspection and new rear brakes) in under an hour!! He’s extremely fair, professional, and kind. Nate is a one-man shop, so please remember this while you’re scheduling your appointment, however, you will definitely NOT feel gouged by his prices or disappointed with his attention to detail and vast automotive mechanical experience. Oh, and it was -27 degrees outside that day, but the shop was kept warm & comfortable by an awesome stove~that you’ll have to go see for yo... I was referred to Alaskan Auto Care, LLC. Wow! What a guy, and what a mechanic! Nate replaced a timing belt at a reasonable price, then I asked if he could get tires, he could and did. I have only used him once, but he is now 'my mechanic' which is a great stressor off of me who knows little about cars. He is transparent, trustworthy and is serious about doing excellent work.
