Apr 25, 2023I had brought my MacBook Air to Alaska Mac store about a month ago, and paid standard 100$ for the diagnostics and cleaning. Main purpose was to look into “no WiFi hardware installed” they emailed me back a week later saying some parts need to be replaced and quoted me 120$. Which is steep compared to other competitors. I gave them the right away anyways. Today (4/24) I picked it up, paid cash, and went home. It’s nicely cleaned but the main reason why I went to them isn’t resolved. It’s still listed “no WiFi hardware installed” so I will be stopping there tomorrow to see what will they say and what will they do since it’s a 30 day warranty on those parts. I’ll return with the final results
