I've been using AJ for over a decade and his work is great. He takes a while, and you have to check back in with him, but the work and price are always solid and he's a great guy. Don’t worry about the "temporarily closed" sign. AJ just had knee replacement surgery and is doing the physical therapy but he’s open. Just limited hours Tuesday-Friday 10-2.
Great repairs but 2 months to get it done. So busy since there is only 2 shoe repair shops in Huntsville.
Came into just get my souls of my boots glued back on and a cleaning. The receptionist was nice and said it may take a little while I said OK. After about a month and a half I still didn’t receive a callback from them figuring it would’ve been done by then so I went into the store and she looked up my information and said oh we haven’t gotten to it yet and I said oh really. Then she said she would make sure he gets on it soon. They were done about a week later, and I didn’t notice it when I picked them up, but when I got home, I realized there was glue oozing out all around the edges of both of the boots, which I think he should’ve cleaned up... There was also small areas that weren’t completely glued back together. don’t think I’ll be taking any shoes back here again.
I destroyed my favorite shoes' heels after getting a flat tire at a bad time. AJ's clinic fixed them up while I waited! Took no more than 10 minutes, look amazing, and very fair price! They were so nice in the shop, too. I'll be back!
