Great experience i was told my subframe needed replacing by another place he said he could do it woukd take a bit cause he had a vacation coming up n part needed to be ordered as its not a common instore part he informed me it looked good no rust no need for mounts they looked good he told me it was my front motor mount n not my subframe got it done in less time then tbe shop who false informed me it was my subframe took to examine n give me the wrong info they charged me 100 for new motor mounts n to examine my car the shop that told me it was my subframe took 3 times as long and cost me 85 dollars for false information I shpulda just went... First off, huge shout outs to Adam for being open on a Sunday, only mechanic in Eau Claire open on a Sunday as far as I'm aware... As sad as it was to find out that my car is likely totaled, Adam kept it 100% with me with communication the entire time that we talked Show diagnostics showed me what's up and was super communicative the entire time. Big props for telling me everything that was wrong and everything that could go wrong in the very near future / giving me advice on how to move forward with my car.

I was in a terrible pinch last summer with a broken down van on the side of the highway with my 5 young children (6month old - 6 year old) on a Sunday due to a failed alternator. As highway patrol helped us get off the highway, I called Adam from Affordable Mechanic and offered extra money if he could help us out since it was a Sunday and we still had 12 hours of driving left on our road trip. He agreed to take our car and gave us priority and fixed it within a few hours. I attempted to give him the extra cash, but he declined and asked for positive review instead.
