Our experience with Advantage Design + Remodel was wonderful! After interviewing multiple other companies AD+R was a clear choice for our Oak Creek basement bathroom and flex space project. The design process was stress free and we were never pressured to include anything that we did not want, or that was not a part of our budget. I changed my mind several times and Casey was very knowledgeable and helpful in ensuring that the final design was something that we loved. Pricing was extremely transparent and reasonable for today’s market, with no surprises or change orders on their end. AD+R works hard to keep the house clean by using floor protection into the remodel space, tarping off the space from the adjacent room(s), and using great dust mitigation measures. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a design/build company!!

We had been putting the project off for years because it all felt very daunting. Advantage was the absolute right choice for us because they made everything easy and we really felt taken care of.
The design phase was so helpful. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted, but Casey had so many great ideas and insights that we never would have thought of. The rendering software they use was so helpful for us to really be comfortable with our design decisions.

Advantage's response to that situation was exactly what you would hope for. They were open and transparent about where unexpected costs arose and they worked really hard to get things back down to where we were comfortable, and the finished product is still stunning.
Advantage Design + Remodel is not the cheapest option there is, but you really get the extra value from the cost. Between the design services, the excellent project management, the dust mitigation, and the overall integrity of the team, it was money well spent. Our only regret is that we wish we would have done it sooner.

Did my due diligence before hiring a company to remodel 2 bathrooms in our New Berlin condo. AD&R checked all the boxes. From the minute Greg came out to look at our project, we knew AD&R was exactly what we were looking for. They laid everything out for us and made the entire process seamless. Estimated time for completion was 6-8 weeks; it was finished in 7 weeks. Using an app called “JobTread”, we were kept informed of every single development. We were able to communicate through the app, and someone from AD&R would respond within hours. Andy and Casey were great to work with. No questions or concerns were too small. We are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them.

His focus on detail, craftsmanship, and fit made us feel at ease from day one. Although it was more than we wanted to spend, we felt the experience, craftsmanship, working relationship and detail orientation would be well worth it.
We met with Casey for design, who was fantastic. She helped us rethink layouts, storage, and functionality, walking through where everything would live in the kitchen. She also translated our Pinterest inspiration into actual lighting and material selections and went above and beyond to source samples so we could see everything in person.
Andy, our project manager and co-owner, provided regular walkthrough videos and updates through JobTread, which was incredibly helpful when we weren’t home. He was always responsive by phone, text, or the platform. The trades were professional, kind, and exceptionally clean — even vacuuming our temporary basement living space during flooring work.
Like any remodel, there were some hiccups. A local cabinet maker (new to AD+R) caused a delay, leaving us without cabinet doors and drawers for about four weeks. Andy and Greg met with us personally, addressed our concerns and frustrations, and worked with us to get the project to the finish line, which we truly appreciated.
JobTread was helpful for tracking progress, though it had some limitations. When we shared feedback, the team was very open to it.
Our recommendations for anyone remodeling:
- Pay professionals to paint — They have the skills, materials, TIME and expertise to get the job done extremely well and timely.
- Use the company’s recommended appliance sales contacts. We did not and it became more of a hassle.
- If choosing Cambria Quartz, go see the full slabs in person. Seeing them in person caused us to change our mind with our selection.
- Use painter’s tape to map layouts.
- If choosing stained cabinets, ask to see a picture of a full kitchen example by the cabinetmaker to set expectations.
Overall, we really enjoyed working with Advantage Design + Remodel and would absolutely recommend them. We look forward to using AD+R again for future renovations!

Advantage Remodel made the entire process easy and stress free. All team members I worked with were knowledgeable in their area of expertise, communicate all updates in a timely manner, and were respectful of my choices regarding the remodel. Additionally when work was done, my home was left clean or permission was asked to store a small amount of equipment. After the remodel was completed I was very satisfied with the work they did.
