Ace Vacuum and Sewing

We took a carpet cleaner in. The cleaner was not that old but it broke down. The guy at the shop, Johnny, gave us a ticket and said it would be about a week. A week went by, but we didn't hear back from them. I called, and he told us it couldn't be fixed and we should just buy a new one. He asked if we wanted him to dispose of the old one for us. We said yes. We then spent over $300 on a new one from a different brand. My wife used it a few times, and then one of the belts snapped. I recently pulled out my older Dyson vacuum that had been sitting unused for years, just to see if it was worth repairing and putting back into use. I took it in to have it cleaned and inspected, and Johnny helped me out. He gave me an honest and thorough assessment, which really helped me make an informed decision. I truly appreciated his candor—he didn’t try to upsell or push unnecessary repairs, just gave me the facts. Great experience overall!

This review so so so so overdue. I have a 1 year old Miele battery powered vacuum which was not working properly. I had power but no suction. I was so sad and freaked out at the idea of having to buy a new vacuum, especially because I just became a single mum and going through a divorce. After calling around a few of the official Miele service centers and also finding out that they have a really bad warranty policy, I knew I had to go with the place and person that knew what they were talking about and good at fixing things :) lucky for me that was Johnny at Ace vacuum and Sewing. Go see Johnny he’s the man! The store is full of vacuums that have been repaired because he not only has the best prices I checked around but more importantly he does a great job!
