The unfortunate thing of having a 16 year old motorhome is repairs are to be expected. That being said, to have the radiator go bad many miles from home is scary…Ace Truck Service in Gallup, NM came to the rescue! Ace was able to source parts, and replace in TWO DAYS! The price was more than fair, and the installation was perfect. We had to put up one night in a hotel and we’re back on the road. Special thanks to Erwin, Jasper, and A.J. - even surprised us we cups and hat before we left!

Beware of this shop. I was charged $2,238 just to replace the transmission cooler lines—a job that typically takes about two hours, but they held my truck for 1.5 days. They do not allow you to bring your own parts, claiming they only use their own, which they source from Freightliner Albuquerque, NM. However, they charged me twice the actual price of those parts. Overall, the experience felt like price gouging. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for fair pricing or timely service.scammersssssssssssssss

I came here because I saw good reviews but... I am really disappointed. My manifold valve had leak on road. I fixed it temporarily just before I found good service and I thought it should be cheaper than call a roadservice. I saw reviews, and came to this shop. It was my mistake. I didn't know that they are so greedy about the money. I told them what problem I have but they charged me even for diagnostic. They pulled out the valve and said it will cost $1100. It wasn't possible to return the valve because it was fixed temporarily. I didn't have a choice. I had to accept. After that I spoke to another driver who had a same issue before month...I came here because I saw good reviews but... I am really disappointed. My manifold valve had leak on road. You decide next time what are you going to do

Brought truck over for repairs, front leaf spring replacement. 3.7-4 hour job took 11 hours to complete. They do have a waiting room upstairs.
For reasons unknown to me, this were neglected (probably because the mechanic was working on multiple vehicles as they came in and braking away from the job too often to give my vehicle attention)
Delivered a new leaf spring, two new bushing pins. For some reason used a new pin on rear shackle to habger where the old pin use to be instead of installing new pin in the leaf spring and leaving the old one where it was. Now old corroded dirty pin is in the leaf spring and the new pin is in the old bush...Brought truck over for repairs, front leaf spring replacement. 3.7-4 hour job took 11 hours to complete. Delivered a new leaf spring, two new bushing pins. For some reason used a new pin on rear shackle to habger where the old pin use to be instead of installing new pin in the leaf spring and leaving the old one where it was. Now old corroded dirty pin is in the leaf spring and the new pin is in the old bushing. That wasn't the only issue, the shackle to hanger in back of spring was not adjusted correctly, pin was screwed in too far, shackle rubbing against hanger. At first there was rubber noise, now its just cranking metal on metal about a month later. When inspecting post first trip, not enough grease was applied, wheel splash liner was cracked, bolts and nuts missmatched, few were very lose and a miracle they didn't fall off right in front of the tire (that would have been a few thousand expense in desert)
Sent pictures and email to Augie (the owner) that assured me his warranty is good nationwide, but the stopped responding. Come to find out, if you bring your own parts (even brand new from the dealer) you have no warranty on parts or on labor, all warranty voided because you supply your own brand new parts to expedite the repair.
If you broke down there and need them, they are there, but if you have the option to try another shop locally, I would do that.
When I showed up in AM and shop foreman was at front desk, he said he would need to find the SPS13 tool to remove the spring pins, couldn't find it... said he should find it but after looking didn't have it. Told me to take the truck around back, drop trailer and pull into the shop. I double checked "should I wait for tool to be located before I bring my truck in shop? That way if you don't have the tool, other repair shops could be contacted to get the truck that is under load, back on the road ASAP" Foreman snapped at me "you make up your mind and let me know" then told another customer to bring his truck into the shop. I told him "its not about me making up my mind, I was waiting since Friday to get this work done, but you say you don't have the tool yet" he just walked away.
All in all, better people service, better attention to details would be much appreciated. That warranty on labor, its a deal breaker... why tell me your warranty applies nationwide and then stop responding to emails with provided pictures and information...
Would i come back or refer another client here, not unless it was the only shop left after exploring other options.
I waited a month to leave a review, took truck to another shop to try and adjust that rear spring hanger shackle, paid for service, after two hours, it has became apparent that the rear hanger has a destroyed bushing at this point and will need to be replaced, so another day in shop and money out of pocket.
Ah well... its the world we live in

Got up to leave the USA RV park one morning and found my right rear tire flat on my Ford F-150. I called ACE and was told they did not work on smaller trucks but on large 18 wheelers. Before I could ask if they could recommend another company they offered to have a mechanic come to me and dismount the wheel and take it into Gallup to be repaired and bring it back and install it. So that is what we did. They got it done and we were on the road in about 2 hours. They went out of their way to help us and I give them at least 10 stars! Great company and great service. Thank YOU!
