Warren setup my new laptop and transferred all the stuff from my old desktop. He made the whole process very easy and I really appreciate the prompt service as I had called him just an hour earlier. Very Pleased with his service.

Warren does a fantastic he has it so that I can call and he remotes my sysyem from is business. Have problem and he taks care of it . I love that he is an excellent computer expert and always able to fix any problems or questions I have when it comes to computers. I would give him a 10 star rating.
Warren is amazing. I have called on him several times for two computers over the last couple of years, both onsite and remote. He is completely competent, honest and fair, reasonably priced, responds promptly, and very friendly. He gets my highest recommendation.

I put the same PC in with Warren Shacklette two separate times. It was the same issue both times. "Overcurrent detected in your usb device. Shutting down to prevent damage to mainboard." Its a MSI motherboard warning for an overcurrent.. most likely due to some short. I am not unfamiliar with PC parts myself, at least to a minor extent. I went through the usual troubleshooting for this issue. Unplug your USB devices one at a time to see if one of them was causing the short. Nope. Then I unplugged the pi... Then I unplugged the pins for the front USB header from the MB, and etc. No cigar. See, it's a strange issue, because it doesn't ALWAYS give that warning. Most of the time the PC will start no problem, but if you shut it down, or reset it, it will not start back up for a while, giving the warning I just mentioned. I sort of got used to it over time since I only used my PC intermittently anyway. But after having a period where it wouldn't start for a few days, I decided to take it to Warren. The first time, he told me it was bad ram. I bought 2 more sticks (This was about a year ago before the ram Ai price apocalypse.) After a week or so, it started happening again. Fair enough, maybe new ram sticks alleviated whatever short is going on with the motherboard somehow? Its an odd situation. And then later on it simply wouldn't start again like before. So I took it back when I got the chance maybe a month later. This time he said he got it to stop, but he didn't really explain what he did and I should have asked more questions. He emphasized that getting windows 11 should clear out any more issues, and although extremely reluctant since I had no real issues with windows 10, I went ahead and gave him the thumbs up since he also mentioned that support for 10 stopped in October. The price he originally told me on the phone ended up being 5 dollars higher, which wasn't a big deal, I simply had already withdrawn cash for the previous 5 dollar less amount. I offered to go to the ATM to get more or pay the entire purchase with a card, but he said no problem and took what I had. (I only mention this because I refuse to be accused of not paying the correct amount. I have text message logs to verify this information as well.) I got it home and it started, but within a week or so, it happened again. This is where I got particularly upset. I called him and he didn't answer, so I left a voice message explaining that I was quite unhappy with my service and that I'd like to discuss it more. Unfortunately, that call has never been returned. I was on Amazon in another tab ordering parts for a new PC and this simply came back in my brain. I had stopped thinking about it, but figured that this information should be out there. From my current perspective (and like I said at the start, I would love to remove this review) he is a good choice for somebody who is a technophobe and has no idea how to use a PC on their own other than clicking and typing. If you built your own PC and want some insight on more complex aspects, at this current time, I would HIGHLY recommend AGAINST him.
