These people are AMAZING. Left rail of my Nintendo Switch broke, took it there and they helped me with ease! Not only did it take less than an hour to fix, it only cost me $30! The piece I needed replaced is roughly $10, they really don’t take advantage of you. Can’t recommend this place ENOUGH!!! Above and beyond my expectations!

Taylor manages this store, and I wanted to really compliment this guy. I took my phone into the 1Up at 2620 S. Lamar, Ste. C earlier today looking for a battery replacement for an older iphone 11 Pro. As it turned out it also needed a new screen due to battery swelling. This cost a bit more but was a reasonable cost. Taylor said he tried his best not to have to replace the screen, but that it needed it; I trusted what he was saying because he was so straightforward about it. He also took care of both repairs very quickly, in less than an hour. In addition to making repairs, he handles the front desk when customers walk in. Very unprofessional; never mentioned the lag of the replacement they use. Called it refresh or regenerate as you scroll it’s very choppy. Rude when they replaced the screen saying there is nothing they can do about it! How about you mention before purchase or product and services; I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH WARRANTY EXCHANGE PROGRAM THEU INSURANCE. Garbage service in my opinion; just to make the sale!

The technician I dealt with (Paul) was rude and dismissive from the start. After completing the repair, my phone no longer had any cell service — it couldn’t connect to a network at all. When I returned immediately to report the issue, the technician became defensive and insisted it was just a “coincidence.” He initially refused to issue a refund and claimed he had already thrown away the original part, which seemed very unusual. His demeanor and overall conduct was very odd and suspicious throughout the whole encounter
In addition, his behavior was unprofessional — argumentative, evasive, and even raised his voice at one point. In addition, his behavior was unprofessional — argumentative, evasive, and even raised his voice at one point. When I asked to speak with a manager, he first avoided the request and was deceptive, then outright refused to connect me with anyone. He eventually processed a partial refund and told me I was banned from returning.
I took my phone to another repair shop the next day, and they discovered the part he had installed was defective and likely not even the correct or compatible one - which the previous technician should have noticed immediately and corrected, opposed to trying to cover it up or hope it would go unnoticed. Thankfully, they were able to fix it properly.
I’ve supported this business for years and have even gone out of my way to bring them my repairs, but this experience left me deeply disappointed. I hope management is made aware of how this was handled and takes steps to ensure other loyal customers aren’t treated the same way.
