My daughter-in-law was handed down an old clock that belonged to her great grandfather. It wasn’t working and had a bit of damage to the wood door on the front of the clock. I took it to Tristan Wier on her behalf and he was able to restore the clock to working condition and he repaired the damaged door. Tristan informed us that this piece is an 1880’s parlor clock! He also provided instructions on how to adjust the time for accuracy and how to wind the clock safely. Tristan is very kind, fair pricing, very skillful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him to anyone hoping to restore or repair a vintage clock or timepiece.
Tristan is awesome! After receiving my watch, which was sooner than expected, I called with a couple questions and he was very professional. Even when sending an email he is very responsive and it’s obvious he cares about his customers!

Found this beautiful Cuckoo Clock at an antique store in Green Bay. Talked with the previous owner who insisted it needed heavier weights to power the movement. But all they did was make the clock run terribly. I don't like the clock repair places in Green Bay, so began scouring Google for a nearby, reputable clock repair shop. My search led me to Weir Clock Repair and Tristan. What an amazing man! My wife and I took an instant liking to him. Friendly, kind, and very knowledgeable. He loves his craft!! He informed me that my clock is indeed an original clock from Germany, and was made back in the early 1960s. He ordered a new movement from the original clockmakers, who are still in business in Germany, along with new chains. I thought the prices were fine. Even got a deal on the chains from the manufacturer. Tristan, we took our clock home, and it works like a finely tuned Swiss watch! We are blown away!! And you'd never know the clock is 60 years old!! Thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts!!

I cannot begin to tell you how qualified and skilled Tristan is at repairing clocks. I was given 1890's Sessions Clock for a wedding gift in 1992. I traveled from Louisiana to Idaho to Wisconsin with this clock over 28 years. Each time I moved homes, I had problems with it keeping the correct time or even running at all. In 1996 I found an old 85 year old clock repair person who was helpful and fixed the clock but after the next move I not only had clock problems but it was difficult to find someone to work on it. In 2008 I lived in WI and took it to a local clock shop and they appeared to fix it but a few years later it stopped again and I let it sit for years until I met Tristan. He listened to my saga of problems and went to work on it. He understood the clock perfectly and was able to assess the problems, thoroughly clean it, diagnosed it's problem and the missteps the previous repair person made. He had it up and running and back in my hands in 6 weeks--not months like previous repair shops. He clearly explained everything to me and was so helpful in teaching me how to maintain my clock and troubleshoot small problems. When I got home I had misplaced the winding key and he quickly helped me get another key and I couldn't be more happy with the whole process and his work. He truly is a master at clock repair!
WeirClock overhauled and cleaned out a 1970s Swiss watch I bought online. He did an amazing job, watch looks brand new and runs smooth. Great communication and very fair pricing. Great to finally know someone who can fix a nice watch and do a solid job! Thank...
